Educational Credit Management Corporation (ECMC) is a nonprofit corporation that assists students and families in their efforts to plan and pay for college. Solutions at ECMC helps students understand the complexities of student loan repayment. Students with questions about federal student loan repayment are encouraged to take advantage of these services that are being provided for free to the students by their school.

The Solutions recurring SMS text message program notifies students of federal student loan counseling services which are free to the subscriber. The messages will recur, no more than once per week, during times when action by the subscriber could result in:

Reduced or postponed loan payments
Completion of applications required to reduce or postpone payments
Resolve or avoid delinquent and avoid defaulted loan status
